Premium Shingle are not much more than the standard shingles.
Although when we apply them you can tell that the quality of build and color
are much different. I would definitely spend an extra 7.00 a square to get
even a bolder color from the product little alone extra protection.
This particular shingle is a little over 100.00 a square.
Lowes has a similar shingle in the standard for 80.00 a square.

Asphalt Shingle Application with Sneakers or Boots

I  prefer using sneakers when working on a roof. They feel light on my feet and breathe easier in warm weather. Boots add ankle support for the change in angle of the roof when climbing. Boots also tend to tare up the shingles when hotter temperatures occur. Although some sneakers if not the running style have a more aggressive tread. Boots such as shown in the photo above would have great ankle support but may cut the circulation just below the knee if you have to squat down in order to nail shingles.
